Day XXIII in New Zealand

Day 23
Sunday 23 November 2003
Gisborne

We went for a walk from the campground to the longest wharf (600 m) of the southern hemisphere which isn´t really in a good condition.
Most sheep we saw until now were in the fridge but today thousands of them lined our way through the hills to Gisborne.
It was raining all the time and we decided to take one of this Cabins but we went out backwards as we realized that our tent has more space and smells much better.
In the evening we took some beer with Sigi and Sonja. They travel New Zealand by bike with a higher speed than we do.
